My wife and I were down in Fort Collins last night, and we were craving steak so we thought we'd stop here. Normally we only go to the Texas Roadhouse in Cheyenne, WY, because we love the food there each and every time. I will start off by saying that for me, a dining experience has two parts: Service and Food Quality. Lets start with the food. Everything on our order seemed bland. I'm not sure if the Fort Collins and Cheyenne restaurants receive different food from different places or perhaps the cooks do things different. The food was OK, but nothing compared to the food we get at the Cheyenne restaurant. That being said, our server was awesome!! She was very attentive and very friendly. She made up for the food being a touch flat. It was a decent meal, but perhaps they can season their food a tick more.

I came here as part of a 60 person wedding rehearsal dinner. We had our own private room and the service was amazing. They really did an awesome job for us. The menu was "fixed". We had steak (juicy), salad (super good), rolls (amazingly good), and a choice of side dish (so many to choose from). I had the sweet potato. Everything was great. The cinnamon butter for the rolls was heavenly. I am not sure if we have this restaurant in California... but I have my fav steak places and BBQ already anyhow. I would recommend coming here, especially if you need a place for a big party. The peanut shells on the floor is always fun. Great beer and fun atmosphere. Maybe a little noisy, but that's because it is a lively place. Their brand of steak sauce was not that good. I like A1 better.

Normally I really like this place, but last week they brought out my roommate s fish and it was raw-Ew . They cooked it some more and gave him an extra side dish but I felt bad that he had to wait and watch us eat.

Texas Roadhouse is a laid back, have a good time kind of place. Sometimes the staff is a little too laid back, but oh well. If I wanted 5 star service I'd go to a 5 star restaurant. I love love love their Italian dressing. It's made in house and it's sooo tasty. The rolls with the cinnamon butter are addicting, you can't stop eating them. I don't like that you can eat peanuts and throw them on the floor. OH fun I can throw my food on the floor. Well not so much fun when you have a 1 year old who can't have any kind of nut, which means you can't put him down because he'll try to eat them all. oh well i guess. The best part is call ahead seating. I called ahead

Find someplace else to eat! Food was not good-steak was dry after sending it back because it was too red - ordered medium looked raw-

Really cool ambiance and theme going on over here. The staff was super helpful and lively for a late evening dinner surprisngly. I usually can kill a whole full slab any day however this time i seemed to be a little out of it. It may have been the insane amount of onion flower and loaded potato skins and bread i consumed for a starter. The ribs however were really good. Nice fall off the bone texture and thick bbq sauce a little tangy and sweet. Definitely a good time.

this place was bad!!! Went in to check it out and the ribs we were served weren't fully cooked and the Waiter argued with us when we told him they were still pink in the middle and the outside was BURNT no BBQ but BURNT!!! not a good experience at all!!!

Our go to steak place. Their prices are good and their portions matching. Steaks have always been tasty. Service can be hit or miss but usually on the okay side. Margaritas are tasty if not turn your stomach sour. Happy hour is a good time to go.

If you are looking for a good steak late at night in Fort Collins, this just may be your place. I had the rib-eye, and my friend had porterhouse (I think). I also had these yummie stuffed sweet potatoes with cinnamon and sugar. I had a nice glass of red wine, appetizer salad, and all in felt satisfied with my meal. My only hesitation in giving this a higher rating is that I was extremely hungry after a long shuttle ride from the Denver Airport to Fort Collins, and you know how everything tastes good after that? Well, it's just some caution. But, my waitress was polite and attentive, we were seated right away. All in all... a good experience.

This place is great. Been going here for years, always get the chicken fried sirloin and its been wonderful. Went yesterday and it came out tuff and overcooked. Not only did they bring me a new one, which was great, they took it off the bill. Talk about customer service. Will be back.

Have returned to Roadhouse several times since last reviewed. Most recent on Sunday, April 19, 2015. I have dropped my ratings to a two star, due to a few areas. Service is Sub-par. Not as friendly and customer oriented the last couple of times compared to several months ago. The table doesn't get cleared before the food arrives on last couple of visits. The utensils and plates aren't checked for cleanliness before being placed on the table. Food: The quality of the steaks are a five star! But not always cooked to what has been requested. The corn as a side dish lacks flavor and taste like out of a can. Could do better by getting frozen sweet corn. And chives are not an option as a topping for the baked potatoe. The appetizers have been served oily. Seems like to me, my perception, a lack of management and training. Hope Roadhouse improves soon. They had been my go to place when I want a steak dinner and a place I take visitors from out of town for the evening.

Excellent sirloin steak with baked potato. Our waitress, Sydney, she did excellent job. Early Dine special at $8.99 was excellent value

I love this place. They have great prices, well cooked steaks and some of the best rolls ever. Also, the beers are cold and tasty. And I have always gotten good service. I'm from Texas and this is totally what I expect.

I think Texas Roadhouse is a great place for the family. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly! I think I'm just not a big fan of their food. I really like their bread. It's so soft and fluffy. The cinnamon butter is a nice touch. But I'm not a big fan of their entrees. I tried multiple things, and I haven't been very impressed yet. I tried their pull pork, which is pretty good. But I'm not totally blown away. Their ribs and BBQ chicken are good too, but it seems like they have the same sauce. I don't remember what their steak was like, but I don't think it was that good if I don't remember. I only had a few places that I LOVED the steak, and I don't think this was one of them. It's pretty loud in here, so you really need to speak up if you want to converse with your family and friends. I like how Texas Roadhouse does fundraisers. My club made a good amount of money with them. If you are allergic to peanuts, you should NOT come here. They have peanuts at the table and in the lobby for people to snack on while you wait.

Visited today for a friend's birthday. We arrived at 4:30pm after a day of activities and we were thirsty but had two more people coming to join us and they weren't there yet. We were not allowed to sit because our party was incomplete despite arriving at an early hour, noticing plenty of empty tables, observing no line of waiting patrons, and stating our intentions to immediately order. If this wasn't for a friend's birthday, I would have immediately walked away. Sure, there is a sign saying they won't seat incomplete parties because it is unfair to those waiting....but no one was waiting!!!!! I had to request water while we waited, had to ask for a table because 7 guests don't fit in a booth, and was told that we could have drinks and appetizers before being seated if we went to the bar...additional check and no place to sit together...no thanks! Also, our waitress continually tried to up charge without noting the additions would cost extra. My guests would have been irate if I had not stepped in on that one especially because they asked what was included...not what the options were. I'm so upset with the service attitude here that I will not be back.

My boyfriend and I just went to Texas Roadhouse for the first time the other night. And I'm glad we decided to try it! I am usually apprehensive to try things that have less than 4 stars and go in with lowered expectations, but Texas Roadhouse far exceeded my expectations! Zach was our server and he did a really good job of taking care of us. The rolls and cinnamon butter are SO good and addicting! We shared the ribeye special that they had going on. We got the 18 oz. ribeye, with a free onion blossom appetizer and two baked potatoes. I honestly can't say that I've had a really good steak at a restaurant before, granted I haven't been to any super nice steakhouses. To my surprise, the ribeye here was super juicy and had tons of flavor. It was $30 for all that and two iced teas (plus we tipped $7- don't forget to tip your servers 20% or more if they're good!) We will definitely be back.

Food is good, although the rent is too damn high. The music makes me want to hang myself in a bathroom stall, but it is called "Texas Roadhouse," so that's my problem, not theirs. Good eats, good peeps.

Solid. There is something to be said for consistency and Texas Roadhouse has it by the bootfull. Of all the locations I have visited, Fort Collins is the best...barely. As with their customer service, their food is the same at each place. I have never had a bad meal at Texas Road House. Never even a mediocre one. I come away pleased every time. They aren't doing anything groundbreaking but what they do, they do well. Their rolls and cinnamon butter are wonderful, their Caesar dressing is fantastic and the steak is always good, not great. If you want a good meal, a nice, loud atmosphere and a drink, go to Roadhouse.

For the price this is great - awesome stakes, great sides and the peanuts - i cannot say enough about the peanuts - i almost get squirrels now :-) Well the hand cut sirloin, fall-of-the-bone ribs, yummy and not to mention great value for the price. Its the place where you can go have a great steak dinner and get out again without spending hours. And the service is always fantastic. I always try to visit a Roadhouse at least once a week when i am in the states ......and this one did not disappoint me either.

It is what it is. A good value. Sirloin, ribs, BBQ chicken, pork chops etc. Skip the mash potato, more gravy than potato.

Texas Roadhouse is by far my favorite restaurant. They have the best steaks I have ever had. The Cowboy cut sirloin melts in your mouth and is always cooked to perfection.

It must have been an off night for me at the Roadhouse tonight. As always, the rolls were to die for, but the rest of my experience tonight was less than great. Our table didn't have menus and the server didn't notice, so we sat there like idiots until we flagged someone down to get some. I didn't get a straw with my drink. I ordered the chicken fried sirloin and it was tough and crusted with a super salty batter. I usually like salty food, but had to quit when I ran out of gravy to tone it down. Maybe I will order the chicken next time.

I go to this location of Texas Roadhouse on a monthly basis and I am always pleased with the service. The food is worth going by itself, but I enjoy eating in a place that gets my orders right every time and doesn't keep me waiting.

Was in Ft Collins last week, spending it at my sister's house along with mom. As in typical Thanksgiving week, it's a daily eat fest whether we're at home or eating out. Coming from TX, the last place I would go is something to do with TX, but this place is an exception. As we usually only visit once or twice a year, we usually go there as it's one of the place my sister go often. As we've been there on several occassions over the past few years, this time was no exception. The food was plentiful, and the fresh dinner roll was to die for. We had the waitress going back and forth in filling our bread tray. I had the combo of bbq ribs and pulled pork, and it was plenty. My bro inlaw had the full rack of ribs, but he had to take half of it home. Overall, everything was nice and hot. Only thing I would not recommend is their fried onion (it's called catus blossom or something). It was a bit greasy, and bitter to the point that my kids wouldn't touch it. Also, we've called in advance and was told the place was empty (around 6p, weeknight), but my wife gave our name so that they can prep for 11 people. However, we got there about 10min later, the host apologized and told us the wait is now 45min.

Ugh yucky.... Went here the other day with some friends and was highly dissatisfied. Had roasted chicken, with a baked potato. Both were so incredibly salty I could hardly eat them. I had to scrape a layer of salt off the skin of my baked potato. Service was AWFUL. The waitress forgot to bring out our appetizer and brought it out after we had eaten our food and did not even offer to not charge us for it or even apologize. Food is way over priced. A hamburger is like 10 bux. That is crazy. Oh and I'm pretty sure it was a mistake but my friend who was on the end probably did not like getting molested by the large armadillo suit guy who was walking around.

My in-laws were in town, we were craving steak, and Texas Roadhouse is near their hotel. After an hour wait on a Friday night, we were seated and given a basket of bread and butter while our waitress got us drinks. I went for the special: 8oz sirloin and grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes. Others ordered the ribeye and pork chop. The caesar and house salad with homemade dressings were great. Ribeye was tender and delicious. My sirloin served medium was ok, a tad bit tough. The shrimp was my favorite, well-seasoned and not overcooked. The mashed potatoes were good but nothing special. For a chain restaurant, not bad, they even offer 3 local beers on tap which I appreciate. Service was good and friendly.
